Modern Baroque Wedding Flowers in Bend, Oregon

MODERN BAROQUE

This styled shoot at Viaggio Wine Merchant in Bend was the epitome of quiet luxury — an intimate celebration imagined among aged bottles, minimalist architecture, and the glow of candlelight. Designed to evoke the feeling of a private gathering among the couple’s closest loved ones, the shoot layered rich textures, lush seasonal florals, and an immersive atmosphere to transport guests into a world of modern elegance infused with baroque sensibility.

The evening continued with a decadent dinner scene where every detail — from the unique, abundant blooms to the understated linens to the soft flicker of taper candles — reflected a refined aesthetic and a deep, soulful connection between floral design and emotion.

“you are just so incredibly talented.  Thank you a billion times over for sharing our stoke and being a part of this."  -ALANA

THE CEREMonY

Set within the wine library’s intimate, all-white interior, the ceremony design embraced simplicity with richness — a minimalist backdrop brought to life by our focal floral installation, which climbed asymmetrically up the library’s wooden ladder, transforming a utilitarian object into a sculptural expression of seasonal beauty.

The design featured an abundance of spring tulips and blooming branches, accented with clusters of grapes for a touch of opulence and unexpected texture. Each bloom was chosen for its form and movement, allowing the installation to feel both organic and artful — like a modern Dutch Master’s still life in bloom. The overall effect was one of quiet drama and baroque-inspired elegance, perfectly suited to the intimate, architectural space.

The PERSONALS

Alana’s bouquet was a petite yet intricate gathering of the season’s most distinctive blooms — a curated mix of fritillaria, ranunculus, and hellebore. Each stem was chosen for its individuality, creating a composition that celebrated the drama of contrast, with light and dark tones playing together in a chiaroscuro-inspired palette. The bouquet embodied spring’s fleeting beauty with nuance and texture, allowing its subtle complexity to take center stage.

Mike’s boutonniere was a refined, masculine counterpart — a small, sculptural grouping of complementary blooms that echoed the palette and tone of Alana’s bouquet. Together, their personals offered a quiet, elegant expression of seasonal abundance and artistic restraint.

The dinner

The table design was a true expression of modern baroque — rich in texture, sculptural in form, and layered with florals that celebrated the season’s most expressive blooms.

Abundant arrangements of tulips, ranunculus, hellebore, and clusters of grapes spilled across the table, creating a sense of opulence grounded in natural beauty. Candlelight flickered from every angle — low votives, taper candles, and pillar lights casting a warm, romantic glow over the scene. A classical bust anchored the tablescape, adding a sculptural focal point that echoed the Old World elegance of the setting.
Every element — from the placement of the blooms to the tonal harmony of the tableware and linens — was chosen with intention. The result was a table that invited guests into an immersive experience of beauty, texture, and refined abundance.
