Summer is the founder and Creative Director of Summer Robbins Flowers, a Bend, Oregon floral studio specializing in luxury weddings and immersive event design.

With a BFA from Parsons School of Design and 25 years of professional experience in design, Summer brings an uncommon level of sophistication and visual depth to her floral work. Influenced by a background in fashion design and personal styling, and years of living and working in New York City, her florals carry a signature style that feels lush, modern, editorial, and alive.

Summer received her floristry certification through FlowerSchoolNY, trained in the NYC event industry, and ultimately built her studio around one guiding belief: florals are not just details—they are atmosphere, memory, and meaning made visible.

Known for her intuitive eye and grounded leadership, Summer creates floral environments that feel breathtaking, intentional, and deeply personal to the people inside them.

Outside of the studio, Summer is equal parts grounded and adventurous—often with a coffee in hand, a great playlist on, and a deep love for beauty in all its forms. She’s a devoted mom of two busy middle schoolers, and when she’s not designing immersive floral worlds, you’ll usually find her in a Pilates or barre class, strength training, or soaking up the Central Oregon air.

She’s always up for live music, delicious food, great friend hangs, and a night spent dancing—because celebration isn’t just what she creates for clients… it’s a way of life.

Meet

Colleen Cunningham...

With a background in fashion merchandising in New York City and Los Angeles, Colleen brings a refined eye, impeccable taste, and a strong grasp of budgeting to her work as a Client Liaison and Event Designer at Summer Robbins Flowers. A trusted collaborator and client advocate, she partners closely with Summer to guide couples through every phase of the design process—with clarity, care, and heart.

Colleen leads the creative vision for our small to mid-size events, overseeing everything from concept development to day-of installation and strike. As one of our in-house floral designers, she’s equally at home in the studio or on-site, hands-on with the blooms and attentive to every detail. She’s known for bringing a calm, organized presence to the process—ensuring each event feels deeply personal, intentional, and beautifully executed.

Fun fact: Colleen is a newlywed (married in August 2025), so she understands the wedding journey from the inside out.

When she’s not flowering, you’ll find her practicing yoga, catching live music with friends, or adventuring with her filmmaker husband, Jake and their sweet pup, Willow.

With a decade of experience in the wedding and events industry, Shelby brings steady expertise and calm confidence to every celebration. Her background includes years as an Event Planner in Southern California, followed by leading high-level catering and event operations as the Catering Services Manager at Sunriver Resort.

Now, Shelby channels her deep industry experience into designing and managing our small to mid-size events—overseeing every detail from concept through delivery, installation, and strike. As a trusted client contact and creative collaborator, she’s known for her clear communication, thoughtful organization, and ability to make each event feel beautifully personal and effortlessly executed.

Outside the studio, Shelby lives in Bend with her professional DJ partner Jeremy—whom she met at a wedding, naturally—and their two fur babies, August and Newt. She’s an avid reader with a soft spot for fantasy novels and murder mysteries, and can often be found riding her mountain bike along the trails of Central Oregon.
