I had heard about Lauren & Micheal’s wedding a couple months before they reached out to me. Their planner, my good friend Abby of AE Creative, had told me all about how amazing they are and what she was envisioning for their intimate, at-home event. I couldn’t wait to get started with them on florals, so when we finally got to sit down together, I was all in. Lucky for me, so were they. 🙂
The whole event took place in Michael’s parents’ back yard, which has an incredible view of the Cascade Mountain Range. Molly, Michael’s mom, married the two in their intimate ceremony, under a large organic four-post arbor full of seasonal greenery and asymmetrically placed florals.
After the couple said their vows and went to enjoy cocktails with their guests in the front yard, we got to work flipping the space from the ceremony into the reception. Farm tables were brought in, garlands of herbs, seasonal foliage, lavender, pheasant feathers, and flowers were placed on each of the tables. Lauren & Michael’s sweetheart table was set with their arbor and the mountain range as their dramatic backdrop.
I loved all of the color, beauty, and love these two surrounded themselves with on their wedding day. Don’t you?
