I felt spoiled working with Hanna & Matt. Not only were they super kind, generous, and had the sweetest parents in the universe, but they also placed 100% trust into my hands and whenever that happens I know that we can always do our best work. Their amazing planner, Brooke at Luxe, shared her design board early in the process and expressed that the couple LOVED this wedding that we had done for all of it’s wild high desert inspiration and table installations, and asked that I create a personalized, scaled version of this for Hanna & Matt’s wedding day with a modern casual feel.
Their color palette was classic white and green, which we then added touches of mauve and burgundy to add depth and more of a high/low visual effect. My mauve peonies and our irrigation ditch wild sweetpeas were poppin’ the week of their wedding, so I sent Hanna a text and asked her if she was okay with me adding them here and there, and luckily she was all in. They ended up being the perfect compliment to the mauve velvet napkins Brooke had chosen for the reception.
When I delivered Hanna’s bouquet, there were tears of happiness (ALWAYS the goal), and then she shared with me this beautiful heart-felt poem about flowers that brought tears to MY eyes. What a sweetheart.
I can’t wait for you to see more. So scroll away. 😉
See why their wedding was one of my favorites?
